The school introduced boarding facility to extend best education to the students who are based even in distant regions. From the academic session 2016-17, the state-of-the-art hostel facility for male students will become fully operational. The facility is located in the premises of the school, however, it has separate entry and exit with numerous rules and regulations and is treated as a separate entity altogether with restricted entry. The female students’ hostel is based in the premises housed by members of the top management in order to ensure appropriate protection and safety during all the times and dedicated vehicles manned by responsible school staff ensures their pick and drop to and from the school. The female students’ hostel will come up within the school premises in due course of time. The new facility which has recently come up has the following features and amenities which are purely child-centric and easily comparable with any established residential facility across the globe.
Dormitory and Restrooms
Every room is quite commodious and well-ventilated and have accommodation facility of sixteen students in each room in a bunk bed fashion. Every room has proper and dedicated storage space which will be assigned to every occupant. In addition to this, the rooms have enough and more provision of natural light and air besides artificial ones. Besides that, every room has an emergency button which once pressed will send alert on six different numbers including that of top management, hostel warden, nearest police station and fire station respectively. Additionally, there is fire protection system installed as well to avoid any incident of fire. Further, there is proper monitoring mechanism through strategically installed CCTVs and the hostel warden will have complete access to it. The restrooms are designed in such a manner that students of all age groups may use the facilities in the rest room easily especially the hot and cold water mixture mechanism.
Mess
The hostel has a spacious mess facility with proper provision of accommodating around 130 students at one time. There is dedicated kitchen area which will be managed and manned by experienced chefs and their subordinates. The school is determined to serve nutritious and wholesome vegetarian meals to the students maintaining highest quality of ingredients used and best hygiene standards during all the occasions.
Drinking Water
The hostel has proper arrangement for fresh and safely processed drinking water available round the clock. The water coolers attached with reverse osmosis plants will have provision of providing cold and normal temperature water depending upon the requirement and the season.
Mini Library and Computer Room
The hostel has a mini library and dedicated computer room on first floor. The library has tremendous collection of books other than text books on various subjects and genres of interest which will develop the brain further. The students may surf the relevant informative websites to gather information regarding projects to be submitted and otherwise and may take print outs if required.
Sports Facilities
There will be a well laid out running track around the hostel premises. Besides that, there will be outdoor sports facilities like basketball court, volleyball court and badminton court where the students may practice as per the hostel schedule.
Entertainment Corner
The Mess will two have plasma screens where the students may watch television shows of relevance and may also play indoor games like ludo, carom and others.
Infirmary and Ambulance Facility
The hostel will have an infirmary manned by a trained medical attendant and the school has proper tie-ups for doctor on call. The school also has an ambulance available round the clock in case of a medical emergency.
Security
The entry to the hostel will remain restricted for all except the hostel students and concerned staff members and support staff members. There will be proper security personnel who will guard the premises round the clock. Additionally, the warden who is a highly experienced member will take rounds with one of the members from top management who will also stay at the hostel permanently to ensure proper safety and attention.
